So are your staff.
You’ve sat through the slideshows. You’ve ticked the boxes.
You’ve brought in trainers who meant well — but left without ever setting foot in a classroom like yours.
The truth? Your educators don’t need more information.
They need strategies that work, feel human, and honour the energy they’re already giving every day.
It’s time for professional learning that resonates — with their values, their students, and their reality.
Tired of PD that feels disconnected from real classrooms?
About Me
Hi, I'm Dr Meg Steele, the director of Creative School Support. After over two decades working in education as a music therapist and teacher, a masters in inclusive education and a PhD exploring professional learning for classroom wellbeing, Creative School Support was born from a deep understanding of the real challenges schools face today. I've lived the pressures of teaching and leadership, witnessed burnout, under-resourcing, and the frustration of short-term solutions that don’t stick.
Creative School Support exists to change that. We don’t offer cookie-cutter workshops or generic programs; instead, we embed ourselves in schools through professional learning that is tailored, flexible, and anchored in both research and real-world practice. We believe that when teachers are truly supported — not just with ideas, but with practical tools and ongoing care — whole school communities become places where everyone thrives.
Our work is a partnership, centred in care and driven by the belief that wellbeing and inclusion are the foundation for impactful schools.

Let’s bring wellbeing and inclusion to life — through music.
Our staff training workshops support educators to embed simple, evidence-informed musical strategies into everyday practice — no musical background required.
Rooted in relational, embodied approaches to inclusion and classroom wellbeing, these sessions are engaging, practical, and energising. Your team will walk away with confidence, connection, and tools they can use immediately.
-
Music-informed strategies to support inclusion, regulation, and classroom rhythm
-
Activities that strengthen relationships and group cohesion
-
Techniques to build co-regulation and emotional safety — without adding more to your plate
-
A fresh understanding of how music can support both student and staff wellbeing
-
Confidence to start using music intentionally, not just occasionally
All sessions are participatory, low-pressure, and adapted for your team’s needs. No one will be put on the spot or made to perform.
