Overview of Reimaginging Regulation: A Professional Learning Workshop for Registered Music Therapists


What does supporting regulation look like in your music therapy practice? Do you wonder how you can align education policy (like FISO 2.0, Response to Intervention, DIPs and Personal and Social Capability framework) with music therapy approaches to foster regulation? Are you seeking fresh ideas to nurture regulation of students, staff and yourself? If so, then this professional learning workshop is for you!


This professional learning workshop invites registered music therapists to reflect on the regulation frameworks in their work and explore ways to reimagine their practice. Participants will unpack theory, engage in reflective discussion, try music-based activities, and plan for applying new ideas back into their own contexts.
