Join Dr Meg Steele (Creative School Support) and Dr Kat McFerran (The University of Melbourne) for this whole day workshop for registered music therapists currently working or wishing to work in schools. After the day of music making, yummy food and community learning you will have a better understanding of the vocabulary of the contemporary school system. You will leave able to clearly articulate how the important work you are doing is addressing school priorities, and feeling energised and confident to advocate for a music therapy program you are excited to deliver!

 Accessibility 

The venue is on the ground floor of main building of the Nth Carlton Railway Neighbourhood House. The venue is a medium sized room, with flexible seating arrangements and strong natural light. There is accessible parking available on Park Street.

Some all day car parking is available on surrounding streets. Tram services on Lygon St (1, 6) stop 450m away from the entrance to the neighbourhood house. 

Registration includes lunch, morning and afternoon tea catered for by the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre.
